Chris Hendricks

President of Local Media Consortium (LMC)

Chris was named the Local Media Consortium (LMC) President of the Local in January of 2018. In his current role, he works with the LMC team to drive value for LMC members through the development of partnerships with market-leading service providers. Hendricks is also the Managing Partner at Extol Digital a consultancy dedicated to helping media and media-related startups thrive and win in the digital economy.

Chris is a well-known and highly-respected media executive having served a 25-year executive stint at McClatchy and having served on boards of many for-profit and non-profit companies and organizations such as Cars.com, Careerbuilder, Apartments.com, News Media Alliance and Local Media Consortium. He currently serves on the board of directors for Moonlighting, Wellness Within, The Maynard Institute, and the Local Media Foundation. He is also an advisor to Impact Venture Capital, and Recruitology.

In his spare time Chris enjoys playing soccer, a good glass of wine and murky IPAs. When home, he also tries to maintain his daily habit of playing at least one game on his Theatre of Magic pinball machine.
